Hey Shayla,
ReplyDeleteI’m Daniel, one of the blog commenters for the Kootuitui schools in Papakura. I’m really excited to see your posts this week and over the summer and look forward to commenting on your awesome posts.
You've got a really thoughtful list here and you have given good reasons for each choice. Nice work. Water is a really important thing to include. Tinned food is smart so things do go off as you have said and It's awesome to see that you've even thought about carbohydrates (carbs), hydration, protein and variety. Nuts are also an awesome source of protein and yes, a great snake.
You've done really well on this task and would be perfectly supplied to go on a long voyage. Just remember to bring a can-opener aye. ;) I'd love to see more colour and effort in your presentation. You've done the most important stuff and while definitely get all the points but feel free to have fun and experiment with different ways of presenting your ideas.
Remember that you can skip ahead and do any of the SLJ activities in any order you want. See you in the comments.
Daniel :)
